Kinship Care

Kinship care is having family, you parents, grandparents or other close family caring for your child.
You can do this through a formal foster care placement or through an informal arrangement between you and your family.
This option will make it able for you to still build a relationship with your baby/child and you will have the emotional and financial support of your family and your child will stay with its biological family, and will meet its cultural needs.

However, you and your child may experience ‘role confusion, as your child may be brought up as your sibling, rather than as your child.

Even though the decision is yours to make, I am here if you need any assistants or you want to talk.
